This exhibition looked at the theatre design for the four years from 1994-98.
It is an international exhibition that has been held every 4 years for the
last 30 years. It includes exhibitions of theatres, scenery and costumes,
where every country includes a national exhibit. The British exhibit included
the storyboard and stage designs from ‘Faust is Dead’, from the
ATC production in 1998. The exhibition was over 140 designers from Britain
and abroad.
The British entries included designs that were produced for the RSC, the Royal
National Theatre, English National Opera, Adventures in Motion Pictures, and
Method and Madness.
